Château d'Artigny
Built in the eighteenth century’s architectural style, this magnificent residence dates from the early twentieth century. thanks to a certain François Coty. Master perfumer during the Belle Epoque era in France, Coty has the ambition to transform the old manor “Puy d’Artigny” into a castle defying any comparison; a chapel inspired by Versailles, polished stone from Lens, carved woodwork, white, pink or green marble decor and trompe l’oeil polychrome paintings covering the famous rotunda on the first floor of the chateau and designed by Charles Hoffbauer. Today, art continues to be at the heart of Artigny through auction sale or exhibitions of contemporary statues such as the Bronze by the artist Arsen Avetissian.
